Our Story
Dear Supporters,
Every night, almost 46,000 young people in Australia face the harsh reality of homelessness. These are not just statistics; they are young people with dreams, aspirations, and potential. They are our future teachers, doctors, artists, and leaders. But without our help, their potential may never be realised.
Our team here at Stepping Stone House feel very passionately that these young people deserve our help which is why we're participating in the 2024 Sleep Under the Stars event. The goal is to raise $1.3M for us to accommodate, educate and care for at-risk young people through their long-term support programs, giving young Aussies a greater chance to succeed in life.
Every donation, no matter the size, has a profound impact. It means a warm bed instead of a cold sidewalk, a supportive community instead of isolation, and a pathway to a better life. By supporting homeless young people, you are investing in the future of our community and making a difference that lasts a lifetime.

Stepping Stone House Limited
Stepping Stone House is an award-winning Australian charity that provides a safe place for children and young people at risk or experiencing homelessness so they can begin to heal, build resilience, create connections and become the very best they can be.
Established in 1989, Stepping Stone House has a proven, long-term model of care that helps people aged 12-24 years to realise their potential, build happier, healthier relationships and become independent adults who can contribute to their community.
