My Story
Hi there!
Did you know that 37% of all Australians experiencing homelessness are under the age of 25? That's almost 46,000 children and young people, all unable to live at home.
The leading causes of youth homelessness are the housing crisis, family violence, family separation and breakdown. Many kids resort to couch-surfing or living temporarily with other households and some are even forced to live rough on the streets.
I feel very passionately that these young people deserve our help which is why I'm participating in the 2024 Sleep Under the Stars event. The goal is to raise $1.3M for Stepping Stone House to accommodate, educate and care for at-risk young people through their long-term support programs, giving young Aussies a greater chance to succeed in life.

Stepping Stone House is an award-winning Australian charity that provides a safe place for children and young people at risk or experiencing homelessness so they can begin to heal, build resilience, create connections and become the very best they can be.
Established in 1989, Stepping Stone House has a proven, long-term model of care that helps people aged 12-24 years to realise their potential, build happier, healthier relationships and become independent adults who can contribute to their community.
